Going to the moon is the only thing humans wehre first to achiwe, all other animals hawe done before us, inkluding driving littel circus cars. we need to go to the monn and show those stupid animals whos boss!!!
Moon mission are a waste of time and money. Instead of going to the moon, lets just get rid of the weapons that will blow up the earth. I think exploring into space is a good idea, but we need to stop going to the moon, it is pointless now. Plus we should not be divided into nations if we are exploring something so big. There would be conflict over who gets all these planets and that would probably turn rotten realy fast. Good word!

I also usally sidewith Penalty....But here I side with neither. Moon missions are usless, we need to voyage to Venus...THE MOST SIMILAIR PLANET, then we need to put animals there and see if they live. Or pollute Venus with air until it has oxygen, or somthing. Out best hope is Venus because the Earth is dead in a few thousan years.....GO PENALTY!
Yeah I don't usually go with lloyd, but I don't think its a waste.
I also don't think though that we should colonize on the moon. xD
Thats just insane.
But Also, I do think that science will spend vast amounts of money just to get a point through, and I don't like that part.
Penalty definitely has this one right. By Dickinson or Shel Silverstein. It wasn't quite day and it wasn't quite night, 'cause the sun and the moon were both in sight, A situation quite all right
With everyone else but them. So they both made remarks aboust who gave more light
And who was the brightest and prettiest sight,
And the sun gave a bump and the moon gave a bite,
And the terrible sky fight began. With a scorch and a sizzle, a screech and a shout
Across the great heavens they tumbled about,
And the moon had a piece of the sun in its mouth
While the sun burned the face of the moon And when it was over the moon was rubbed red,
and the sun had a very bad lump on its head,
and all the next night the moon stayed home in bed,
and the sun didn't come out til noon.
Poetry ABOUT the moon?!!? This sounds a bit like Penalty has a hand in this, but I must say I am impressed with your dedication to Nite Fite. You a true Fiter buddytoledo, whoever you are.

umm, can you two talk about stuff that is a bit more relevant for hard-working registered voters? for instance - the imminent collapse of the wall street followed by a return to the thunderdome or maybe even the new yorker's bizarre psycho-stalker-girlfriend love of barack obama.
Space Cowboy represents the bright future that America has. Not only on the Moon, but in the universe. It is because of anti-intellectuals like Penalty that got the Earth destroyed to begin with. Lloyd is probably Space Cowboy's father. Or cousin. They're related in someway. I mean, same eye color. Same chin. So Yeah.
I'd have to say it's a good idea. For example, nobody bothered researching alternative fuels until it became a crisis, it's just in this case, if the research isn't done beforehand, instead of having no gas for our cars, we'll all be dead... or radioactive mutants.
Although the US doesn't own the moon, I kinda have to side with Lloyd on this. Moon bases and Moon cities are the wave of the future. And Space Cowboy being there also kicked ass.
What? you Americans don't use enough money on space. You use all you god damned tax money on war. Face it the rest of the world don't want you as the "world police"
This is the first time that I have sided with Lloyd. Like everyone else has said, we need to know where to go next... because as Space Cowboy Jake Rhodes, also known as Space Cowboy said "That... is unacceptable man!"
Hell yeah we own the moon! We're just letting the rest of the world look at it, at least until we can figure out how to keep it to ourselves completely. We'll probably buy the rest of space too and annex all that.

The only problem is, now that China has landed on the moon... Who owns it?

Wow, I'm all for Penalty this time. Moon missions are a waste of time and money!!! Our tax dollars should be used to subsidize Space Cowboy!
Again as usual, I'm with Lloyd. We do have to be looking out for our future interests. The world "will not" last forever. even though some ignorant people would disagree. We have to have a good plan for the future of mankind if we wish to survive...
The world has....I don't know the exact number, but A TON of money we waste. I think we should use this for future plans like the moon, going with llyod and the guest
This is a rare occasion, as I am siding with Lloyd here. For one, really...we've wasted a lot of money on things even more useless than sending people to the moon, but sending people to the moon and into space in general is a good idea for the future. Eventually we're going to destory the entire planet (as proven by The Space Cowboy), so we gotta start looking for another place to live and eventually destroy as well.
I agree with you Niko, i usually side with penalty. But its probably true that we will cause the world to die out because of a nuclear war. I think they should keep going with the moon missions and such. Like they've already found planets that are almost exactly like earth. And if they could find a way there that would be quick, we might have a chance of keeping the human race living longer.

And Niko, I would like to thank you for your support of Nite Fite, no matter the length! These "are" the actual debates that are fun and important to argue about. Keep up the good fight Niko!

These moon missions aren't about finding a bunker for earthlings, its about gaining knowledge of whats out there, or what could be out there. The moon is 1/4 the size of earth. We can't possibly fit a growing population of more than 6 billion people on a smaller rock. If earth is destroyed, the moon won't have anything to gravitate towards thus, we would all burn anyway. I am not siding with either of them because Lloyd is right for the wrong reasons and I think Penalty is just wrong. Oh and lol to the space cowboy!
