Tonight's hot button topic: Selling Out. When Penalty accuses legendary rock group "The Who" of selling out, Lloyd puts up a good fight and takes on a certified rock authority, too. Less[-]
I'm with Lloyd. They aren't selling out, just making money. Imagine if there were no "sell outs." TV shows, movies, plays, none of those would have music. Think of how awesome the Watchmen trailer is with Smashing Pumpkin's "The Begining is the End is the Begining." It frakking rocks! And besides, it is their music. The Who should do what they want with it.
I say you sell out so you can make money which lets face it, who's opposed to makin some money...then you release b-sides cd's so that your true fans will appreciate what you're releasing still!!
I am with penalty personally. but i think that the creators of C.S.I. could have prevented the who from selling out by putting forth the effort to create their own theme song. so i believe that the C>S>I> creators are to blame and that the who has just been desinsitized by fame and money as many rock stars/bands tend to do.
I dislike selling out but is it truly selling out if lets say The Who likes the show CSI: Miami.
If someone has a power and they want to help get a product out their why should they not let someone use their art to advertise something they greatly enjoy.

if Won't get fooled again is in CSI, heck, it means the song was that great so that the song was chosen to the generic. Geting payed is the right thing! heck, everyone want's to make money of what they do! Go LOYD!
This time it makes me sad that i will have to agree with lloyd WHATS WRONG WITH A MAN MAKING THEIR MONEY! Hes not selling out their simply doing their job which is to play!

I'm usually with Penalty, but this one is defanitely Lloyd. I mean, The Who should make money if they deserve it. And fans should be happy, not be jealous. But for all else, GO TEAM PENALTY!! [lol i love his name]

Got to agree with whoever made that "The Who Sell Out" comment. As much as I usually side with Penalty, I'm definately with Lloyd on this one. Although, I'm a little disturbed by the fact they went on a "Themes of CSI Tour" not that long ago. There's definately something that doesn't compute there.
I'm with Lloyd on this one. The song fits the show perfectly. "Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss." Clearly shows how each character is the same on each of the 3 shows. I won't get fooled again that I'm watching the same show 3 times. OH SNAPS.
great episode... having cougar on the show was a great idea-- I hope to see more of that. these episodes are kinda short... I was hoping for a little more.
Not much longer than the Meth Minute cartoons. You know how long it takes to rehearse lines, align the speech with animation etc. etc.? Give Dan some credit, he's making a lot for a one week timeframe each episode.
Great Song Great Show Correct! Anyone that calls The Who sells outs can't make real music and knows that everyone wants to make money. You want the Who to work at McDonalds and make music, they need to live!!
Really Like This Show, Great Job all involved!
And It's a Perfect set up to have guests From MM39, you could get space cow boy to call in as a person from the futures Trying to make us stop global worming!lol
Great Job Meth!
They made the song - its their product, they can use it however they want. Its not right to say "oh they can't tarnish their career by associating with a crappy show". Big deal! That song is probably what MAKES the show popular. How many times have you seen parodies or montages of Carruso's one liners WITH THAT SONG! If nothing else - CSI:Miami needed that song.
Hahaha, I love how this is all put together, i feel like im in the fite. But good show and song none the less, I dont think any different of the song because of it. It rocks! (like this show)
Seriously, does The Who really need to make that extra money? I think not. Their music is good, people buy their music and they make money. They don't need to sell out. I'm with Penalty. GO PENALTY!
