    As a paranormal researcher I'd like to say that aside from the apparent ability to make roosters explode, Casper is dealing wih the same existential conundrums as most discarnate spirits. Unlike most, however, Casper frightens a big, mean landlord at just the right moment and solves all of his issues in one fell swoop.

    According to the film, Casper was left out to play in the snow and forgotten by his father, dying of pneumonia.
