@Barrista: LOL, I really like this. It inspire me to do something, and break the ice with a simple animation. The story was creative. "Bueno! Im an american now, my heart belongs to the President of the United States...who ever he may be..." - hilarious !
@Mantelope: Pretty classic Bugs Bunny/Elmer fudd type, but missing the beautiful hand drawn animation old cartoons have. I liked the idea and everything, it just would've looked better had it not been flash.
@Mantelope: This was my fav of episode 1. I took it as an homage to the great Chase cartoons from the golden age of animation. I noticed that Maurice Noble was listed as a consultant, (despite his having passed away in 2001) he was layout artist on many classic Warner Bros. cartoons.
@In the Rough: really good animation and clean pictures. It's fun and family entertainement. feel like in front of old cartoons. That's realy good. grat work!
@Barrista: I love this one. If Frederator would have led with something else, I doubt I would have stuck around, but this made me fall in love with Frederator at first sight.
@Barrista: CalicoMnky: Yes! yes you should! Actually, YOU should! This is hilarious, and that's mostly what matters. not how many frames you see in a certain amount of time. Baby Jesus IS a binary talker, these days.
@In the Rough: I was absolutely blown away. This short was fun & fast paced. Great character depth, excellent story. I don't know where to begin about the animation! Nice just nice!
@Go Spy Go: Great aesthetic & very pop. The characters all look alike & the animation is minimal. Would be nice if the characters had... character. Very fun nonetheless !
@Mantelope: For such a big studio... this short is very uninspiring. I mean it looks nice, the animation is ok but the formulaic crap and awkward/badly timed jokes dont work.
@Go Spy Go: i loved the mixture of drawing and photography. very effective. makes me want to see the show, but i'd prefer not to have a plot at all. just more music like that and montage.
@In the Rough: Blur has some great animated shorts. This one is no exception! I'm looking forward to seeing more from this studio and keenly interested to see what they can deliver in the feature arena. Channel Frederator rocks.
@In the Rough: I'm not a big fan of computer animation, but the gags and the storytelling is great on this short. I've shown the Blur Studio shorts to all my friends...
@Mantelope: Very Rocky n Bullwinkle/Dudley Dooright, it was very neat and would definetely stand out among a line-up of today's shows, which all seem to have anime elements in them....
@In the Rough: A cute story, fantastic lighting and atmosphere paired with the excellent Looney Tunes-esque animation made this one a lot of fun to watch.
@Mantelope: Nicely done. The premise is formulaic but it's a tried and tested good formula. Flash seems like a pretty appropriate tool for bringing that old low-budget animation style into the 21st century. I think some of the motion tweens were a little too slow to effectivly fool the eye. I don't know if the team shouldf be criticised for this or praised for sacrificing fluidity (is that a real word) for good timing.
@In the Rough: Watch out Pixar? More like...admire the fruit of your inspiration, Pixar. I mean everythin; lighting, movement, facial expressions was all completely derived from the Pixar in-house style. Not that that's a bad thing, of course.
@In the Rough: Absolutely great cartoon! Nice lighting, good atmosphere, and the best WB cartoon inspired humor I've seen in a while. Though I don't think it's quite up there with Pixar, it sure beats the pants off Dreamworks latest uh works. The story does drag on a bit in the end though. Should have ended with a bang.
@In the Rough: I do not know if it is a requirement for iPods (which I do not own), but whatever the case the original was 24 fps, and the encoder simply duplicated 1 frame out of every four in order to bring it up to 30fps, which makes every panoramic move look awful. The short is awesome, though.
@Mantelope: yea the wild brain guys are awsome, I have been playing on their website. Does anyone know where to get hurbert's brain, I think it looks realy cool but according to their website it only played back in 2003.
