    @Zoomates: Didn't really find it funny. And that laughter in the can only made it worse.

  • darkstar wrote on February 28, 9:23 pm

    @LifeSavers: Nice old commercial but didn't work out with me.

  • darkstar wrote on February 28, 9:23 pm

    @Super Dee Dooper Giraffe: Hilarious! Great animation

  • darkstar wrote on February 28, 9:24 pm

    @Free Range: I liked it alot

  • Yaztromo wrote on March 1, 4:13 am

    @Zoomates: Had some potential, but the laugh track was grating, and threw things off completely. If you have to remind the viewer where the funny bits are, it probably isn't funny to begin with.

  • Yaztromo wrote on March 1, 4:14 am

    @LifeSavers: That was a trip down memory lane. Now if I only had some candy of some sort to enjoy the rest of this episode of Channel Frederator with...

  • Yaztromo wrote on March 1, 4:16 am

    @Free Range: I really liked this short -- but if anything, it was a bit _too_ short. Just as I was really getting into it, it ended. And you just have to feel for those poor cows :).

  • xopher wrote on March 1, 11:28 am

    @Zoomates: I assumed the laugh track was there as a joke in itself. Which made it about the funniest thing in there. I'll bet you six-hundred dollars that the laugh track was a device of irony. Anyway, overall I enjoyed it, but it wasn't amazing or anything. 3.

  • xopher wrote on March 1, 11:32 am

    @Super Dee Dooper Giraffe: This made me chuckle. I was excited by the opening "TERROR" stuff, but it turned into a giraffe thing. Don't get me wrong. Love giraffes. This is an above-average student piece. 4. Nipples flapping in the wind.

  • xopher wrote on March 1, 11:40 am

    @Free Range: Always leave 'em wanting more. This one is brilliant. Best cartoon since "Sing Along With Roosevelt" back in episode 16. The violence in this is so well portrayed. From the distant explosion of a sheep suicide bomber to the silent scene of the birds slowly falling asleep, it's all tasty and top-notch. I think I have to watch it about ten more times to catch everything. 5.

  • xopher wrote on March 1, 11:41 am

    @LifeSavers: Nice. 3.

  • rynokins wrote on March 1, 1:14 pm

    @Zoomates:

  • rynokins wrote on March 1, 1:16 pm

    @Zoomates: at least I didn't have to laugh.

  • bungholio wrote on March 1, 2:36 pm

    @Zoomates: Seth must have intentionally blunted the edge of his humour to sell this one to the network execs. I'm not the only one who noticed the awful laugh track. I wonder if he toned down his first Family Guy cartoon like this when he pitched to the FOX executives.

  • tuomime wrote on March 1, 3:24 pm

    @Zoomates: This... wasn't funny. Seth's stuff is great so it makes me wonder if this is bad just because it's one of his first or if what bungholio said above rings true. Either way this... wasn't funny.

  • tuomime wrote on March 1, 3:26 pm

    @LifeSavers: interesting animation. I don't like seeing ads on frederator all that much but this was one of the better ones.

  • tuomime wrote on March 1, 3:26 pm

    @Super Dee Dooper Giraffe: heh.

  • tuomime wrote on March 1, 3:27 pm

    @Free Range: The little fat birds were the best. The one shoving the other into the silo as they flew... silly.

  • El_Sajo wrote on March 1, 4:20 pm

    @Free Range: If it was just a tad longer I would have given it a 5. Still the only good cartoon I've seen on Frederator in awhile.

  • AJD08 wrote on March 1, 5:49 pm

    @Zoomates: I thought it was awesome! But we could've done w/o the laugh track. Seth and Butch rock!

  • AJD08 wrote on March 1, 5:50 pm

    @LifeSavers: interesting, nice to see the old animations every now and then.

  • AJD08 wrote on March 1, 5:51 pm

    @Super Dee Dooper Giraffe: I guess it's okay for a student project, but besides that I really didn't like it...

  • AJD08 wrote on March 1, 5:54 pm

    @Free Range: LOL! this was awesome! I showed it to all of my friends. I just love how it tarts out almost like a kids show like "Backyardians" or something, then by the end of the episode you have a cow getting it's eyes shot out. Amazing.

  • toongirl wrote on March 1, 7:02 pm

    @Super Dee Dooper Giraffe: That is some great animation. And done by a film student no less?! Bravo.

  • toongirl wrote on March 1, 7:03 pm

    @Free Range: WOW. This was so funny!! Who cares if it's "too short"--the animation was so well done, and the story was well told. A definite 5er.

  • blink wrote on March 1, 10:44 pm

    @Zoomates: Well, at least we see why Seth moved on to family guy.

    I found the 2 beginning characters eerily identical to Timmy Turner and Vicky (the babysitter)

  • 19hertz wrote on March 2, 12:34 pm

    @Free Range: this was incredible. Slick animation and a great tune. The sound was amazing on this baby. Maybe it was short but I just keep watchin and listening to this time and again. Top notch!!!

  • mattlexoz wrote on March 2, 2:14 pm

    @Free Range: really enjoyed this one - best yet by far. Whoever Seed Animation are they are really on to something here, the kids loved it, I hope it doesn't give them any ideas!

  • mattlexoz wrote on March 2, 2:14 pm

    @Free Range: SIGN THEM UP!

  • AJD08 wrote on March 2, 5:58 pm

    @Zoomates: That's because Butch Hartman designed them too.

  • fluffy wrote on March 2, 6:11 pm

    @Zoomates: The original Family Guy short (Life Of Larry) was kinda boring too. Larry and Steve (which came later after Hanna-Barberra hired him) was a lot better and more in-line with Family Guy. Then Fox saw both shorts and were like "oh man we need to develop this into a big ol' edgy primetime show!" and so they hired him and then Family Guy was made good.

  • redfive86 wrote on March 2, 6:13 pm

    @Free Range: Nothing is better than sheep suicide bombers. Ever. Fan-freaking-tastic.

  • snackatoms wrote on March 2, 7:40 pm

    @Zoomates: Not. Funny.

  • snackatoms wrote on March 2, 8:29 pm

    @Super Dee Dooper Giraffe: This short hard-crashed my entire system. Twice.

  • SXN wrote on March 2, 9:27 pm

    @Zoomates: the laugh track was horrible and the cartoon just wasn't funny....

  • sk8punk707 wrote on March 2, 9:32 pm

    @Zoomates: not bad. seth macfarlane and butch hartman of fairly oddparents are a killer combo. (life of larry) the cartoon that was on the cartoon cartoon show on cartoon network that was created by seth was hysterical. the original clip that you find online isnt particularly funny. but the cartoon that made it on the cartoon network show is the original peter and brian. also, the afeminate aligator was rather funny. 4'd

  • sk8punk707 wrote on March 2, 9:33 pm

    @LifeSavers: trippppppppppy! 3'd

  • SXN wrote on March 2, 9:35 pm

    @Free Range: watched it twice, very funny. animation style is appealing too

  • tuomime wrote on March 2, 9:39 pm

    @Zoomates: I watched this again and realized I was kind of hard on it. I got a few laughs out of it but I guess my expectations were just too high because I was compareing it to family guy. Of course it doesn't even begin to but if it's looked at as a completely seperate thing it's amusing.

  • appleofuri wrote on March 2, 11:10 pm

    @Zoomates: Would have enjoyed it without the laugh track much much more...but still well..OK.

  • appleofuri wrote on March 2, 11:11 pm

    @LifeSavers: ok I want the name of these 23 flavors!!

  • appleofuri wrote on March 2, 11:12 pm

    @Super Dee Dooper Giraffe: no..just no...but umm i kinda liked it at the end...

  • appleofuri wrote on March 2, 11:14 pm

    @Free Range: that was soo freaking great..and the birds that end..LOL god I loved it.

  • xopher wrote on March 3, 12:14 am

    @Zoomates: The laugh track is funny. The rest of the show...a little Hanna Barbara, on second viewing. Not great big funny, but humorous.

  • xopher wrote on March 3, 12:17 am

    @Super Dee Dooper Giraffe: On second viewing, I'd give it a 3. But it lucked out, 'cause I can't vote twice. I downgrade it to a three, because it is VERY derivitive of Ren & Stimpy. Like the floppy faces blowing in the wind, the poking the monkey in the eye with a stick, the monkey's eyes themselves were very similar to stimpy's eyes. So...that's that.

  • xopher wrote on March 3, 12:19 am

    @Free Range: Where did the pig go? There he is!

  • Avi wrote on March 3, 4:35 pm

    @Zoomates: The laugh track is a joke. Since the show is essentially a sitcom...with animals. I thought is was really good!

  • lanalou wrote on March 4, 6:55 pm

    @Free Range: Animation style was really sweet and engaging. This was a great use of the style as a contrast to the story: making the story totally unexpected and really funny.

  • kool_kat wrote on March 4, 11:58 pm

  • kool_kat wrote on March 5, 12:03 am

    @Super Dee Dooper Giraffe: Laughed my ass off!! I would have given you a 10, but 5 will do! I think the next video you make should be about a pig nose people killah!! haha, right on Steve, YOU ROCK!! Totally above average, patiently waiting for the next one..........lol

    @Super Dee Dooper Giraffe: ...man, this one sucked ass.

  • Fistycuffs wrote on March 5, 12:31 am

    @Zoomates: I liked the whole theme.
    I was hopein' for some good ol' Seth humor, but it IS an Oh Yeah! Cartoon, so he couldn't throw any of that in there.

  • Fistycuffs wrote on March 5, 12:33 am

    @LifeSavers: Uhh... 2? 3? I dunno, it reminded me of acid.

  • Fistycuffs wrote on March 5, 12:33 am

    @Free Range: This thing was freakin' FREAKY!!
    But yeah, it ended out of nowhere.

  • Clyde wrote on March 5, 4:00 am

    @Free Range: Haha yeh i was getting into it as it got to the chicken with the machine guns, but like what most people think, it ended to quickly... Great short though

  • Clyde wrote on March 5, 4:03 am

    @Zoomates: It was OK, i was kinda expecting family guy, America Dad type humour, but seeing as this is one of his first shorts, it was ok.

  • Clyde wrote on March 5, 4:05 am

    @Super Dee Dooper Giraffe: hehe.. not bad..

  • SamGwilym wrote on March 5, 10:25 am

    @Zoomates: The laugh track really detracted from the cartoon, whether it was intentional or not, which was a shame as this cartoon could have been nice.

  • SamGwilym wrote on March 5, 10:29 am

    @LifeSavers: Loved it for the motown music. :)

  • SamGwilym wrote on March 5, 10:34 am

    @Free Range: Loved this one. Nice bit of Satire too. :D

  • McCullough wrote on March 5, 7:55 pm

    @Zoomates: I continue to experience iTunes crashing while watching this short. Anyone else having any issues?

  • Clyde wrote on March 6, 12:25 am

    @Zoomates: Laugh track was annoying

  • Cwruidth wrote on March 6, 6:44 am

    @Free Range: This is the best thing ever. EVER, GODDAMN YOU.

  • McCullough wrote on March 6, 10:38 am

    @Free Range: Not as good as Happy Tree Friends. But not bad. I wanted it to be more gruesome.

  • Bartfan09 wrote on March 7, 7:19 pm

    @Zoomates: Seth MacFarlane!?!?!?! Awesome... but I haven't seen it yet.

  • twook2000 wrote on March 7, 9:23 pm

    @Free Range: This just made me say.... "Holy Crap, it's good".

  • xopher wrote on March 8, 2:00 am

    @Free Range: Yeah. Happy Tree Friends. HAPPY TREE FRIENDS CAN SUCK IT!!!

  • mammasheen wrote on March 8, 7:03 am

    @Zoomates: really disappointed in this cartoon.The canned laughter was the only laughs they were going to get.

    Not up to the family guy standards. waste of GB space on my iPod

  • mammasheen wrote on March 8, 7:04 am

    @Free Range: really liked this one!! redeemed this episode after the mcFarlane fiasco

  • mammasheen wrote on March 8, 7:05 am

    @LifeSavers: cool liked this

  • unoefe wrote on March 9, 6:48 pm

    @Zoomates: It shocked me how un-funny this toon was. I was expecting so much more. Laugh track? Are you kidding me? Art and animation wasn't bad though.

  • unoefe wrote on March 9, 6:50 pm

    @LifeSavers: I wonder when this commerical played because it seemed kind of familiar to me. I liked the style quite a bit. Kind of a yellow submarine thing going on.

  • unoefe wrote on March 9, 6:51 pm

    @Super Dee Dooper Giraffe: I loved this one. Reminded me of John K's work. The overall animation was kind of sloppy but this toon really made me laugh.

  • unoefe wrote on March 9, 6:51 pm

    @Free Range: Very cool. Neat look. Best of show.

  • djp72 wrote on March 14, 5:16 am

    @Zoomates: wasn't that bad. i sorta dug the cheesy laugh track

  • djp72 wrote on March 14, 5:17 am

    @LifeSavers: awesome
    more

  • djp72 wrote on March 14, 5:19 am

    @Super Dee Dooper Giraffe: hated it.

  • djp72 wrote on March 14, 5:22 am

    @Free Range: best in ages.

  • thewuz wrote on March 15, 5:51 pm

    @Free Range: I dont see what the big deal is. Its good but the characters are blobs.

  • Bisquick wrote on March 20, 5:27 am

    @Zoomates: I'm sorry, I must have missed the part where this was titled "Family Guy." Just because it's Seth doesn't mean it has to be a clone of Family Guy. This was obviously created as an entirely different concept - I had the impression that Seth was going for a parody of all those crappy sitcoms we are subjected to on TV (hence the laugh track). God forbid a guy have a little diversity in his work! If you want Family Guy, then watch Family Guy. If you want to see what else a person can do, watch Frederator.

  • krabak wrote on April 5, 5:22 am

    @Zoomates: Was that Tom Wilson doing the bear? You know, Biff? I liked that character the best, the rest was fine I guess.

  • martyc09 wrote on July 9, 4:17 pm

    @Free Range: at the beginning, I was like, wtf is this, teletubbies? then I laughed my ass off. great!

  • Popezilla wrote on July 20, 11:05 am

    @Free Range: I liked the characters. This was very well done...I dont see anything wrong with it other than how short it is. This could have gone in many directions if it were longer.

  • Popezilla wrote on July 20, 11:07 am

    @Zoomates: Didn't really like this one. I'll admit this was very professional, but I generally look to Frederator to air the actuall FUNNY stuff you can't find on TV. This looks like the crap I find on TV.

  • TommyOkami wrote on July 21, 2:52 pm

    @Free Range: anybody remember those toys from the early nineties? The ones with the sheep army and the pig army, and you could clip on rocket launchers and jet pacs and...other educational things like that? Sweet, sweet memories...

  • DuckWaters wrote on July 24, 4:47 pm

    @Zoomates: This was so-so. The canned laughs were goofy :D

  • DuckWaters wrote on July 24, 4:49 pm

    @LifeSavers: Cool cool cool.

  • DuckWaters wrote on July 24, 4:54 pm

    @Super Dee Dooper Giraffe: see above

  • DuckWaters wrote on July 24, 4:58 pm

    @Free Range: Mmm, this isn't really my favorite animation style, but the animal designs were pretty cool. I thought it was funny for a while, but...bleh, in the end it wasn't really all that great.

  • Timster wrote on February 26, 9:45 am

    It's OK. The writing is sitcom-style and the concept is interesting.
