@(Don't) Give Hate a Chance: Listening to that album came with the surprise that Jamiroquai has some pretty deep philosophical and sociological thinking behind their music.
That was a really neat video. Cool animation style.
As a side note, the bastard stole my favorite furhorn hat!

Now, I don't suppose we could see that again with better visual and sound quality?

@Fuggy Fuggy: That was good. Definitely a winner. Made me laugh. Nice animation style. Ninja hoods on the horse and pig were a nice touch. If he was a TRUE master of disguise, however, he would have included a roll of toilet paper. ;p

@Aunt Luisa: Not bad. Nice design. Preferred in the rough a whole lot more though.

@(Don't) Give Hate a Chance: Nice video. As for Jamiroquai... they just keep pumping out the same repetitive sound. The haven't done anything different in years.

@Fuggy Fuggy: That was fuggy horrible. It was way too long. I didn't find anything in it even remotely funny. I don't get the whole fuggy thing. Is that how Asians sound to the creators? Boring stuff.

@(Don't) Give Hate a Chance: I actually liked the 'toon the messages were cute and and I a fan of Jamiroquai though it takes me a few listens to understand what the heck the guy is singing out...But that doesnt take away from the toon still good.

@Fuggy Fuggy: It was a little too long..and I could have done with about 50 less fuggy's (course now that will have to be my new word for the month) but it still made me chuckle yeah and I'm with Tuomime I am trying to wipe the sound and image from my mind.

@Aunt Luisa: Blur does an excellent job on attention to detail and rendering, but the story for this short could've been better. (in comparison to In the Rough)

@(Don't) Give Hate a Chance: Very creative. I liked the Pink Panther 3D style people (short, and large noses)

@Fuggy Fuggy: Very funny. I liked the treadmill the best.

@Aunt Luisa: great everything except for the end the end just didnt work for me

@(Don't) Give Hate a Chance: woot, i liked this it was real wierd but cool. and jamiroquai is awesome, dynamite is a good cd. but i agree with espmagnus and darkstar, the sound quality was awful. but still 5'd.

@Fuggy Fuggy: absolutely god awful. this is one of the worst shorts ever. animation=teh suck. funny factor=teh zero.

not funny at all, animation sucked, and it was hella long.

@Aunt Luisa: The theme music from Orson Welles' "The Third Man" was a clever touch. The missing Guy Lombardo Orcestra, and Welles' missing racketeer character, Harry Lime, are both used for building mystery. It would have been great if Guy Lombardo could have appeared and explained the nature of his evil, or why Aunt Luisa was hallucinating. Of course he might have just told her to stop drinking rot-gut. It's a great toon!--very subtle.

@Aunt Luisa: Anti-climaxes are not climaxes. Could have been so much more...

@(Don't) Give Hate a Chance: Fab animation. Don't like the song so much, but that's just me.

@Fuggy Fuggy: HA. Loved the Bruce Lee inuendo.

@(Don't) Give Hate a Chance: Knowing the animation was done with motion capture instead of posing the 3-D figures with the stop action method makes me less impressed with the overall result. It takes more skill and talent to work with the stop action method, even with the computer interpolating between key frames. I give it a 3 for laziness.

@Fuggy Fuggy: It was a little long, but still better than other content we've seen. The short vignette format is a surprise. I was once told someone on the Frederator staff didn't like vignettes.

@(Don't) Give Hate a Chance: the character design for this was phenomenal. something i don't see too often in 3d work. the animation was exceptional too, but reading that last comment about motion capture makes me feel iffy about it. though, the only part that "felt" motion capture was the dance sequences. this was by far my favorite this week! SHAZAM!

@Aunt Luisa: anti-climaxes are often better than climaxes. i thought the story here was a lot better than 'in the rough.' caveman fighting! vs. drunk hallucinating aunt searching for a defunct big band in her house, edlessly? give me the royal canadians! they weren't even from canada! 5.

@(Don't) Give Hate a Chance: I would give it a higher rating if the sound was at all listenable. And, I would give it a higheer rating if it wasn't done with motion capture. The design, the concept, and the general effect of it are way good, though. So it gets a 4. Could have been a 5.

@Fuggy Fuggy: I was told that someone on the Frederator staff didn't like vignettes, too. And one of them has never watched The Godfater all the way through without falling asleep. That having been said, I think this cartoon had some funny moments. However, the premise is not funny. Ninjas aren't funny. Ninjas will kill you in the face!
It was borderline racist, borderline funny, borderline original. It was NOT borderline short. In fact, it was about 5 times as long as it should have been. I was sitting for long periods while watching it getting a funny taste in my mouth. Then something amusiing would happen, then it would be long and tiresome again, etc. Fuggy-Fuggy: 2.

@Fuggy Fuggy: I have trouble making it through Godfather also. My blood sugar usually fades about when Michael goes down to Cuba.

@Aunt Luisa: Awesome. The Blur folks impress again. Very funny and their animation is wonderful. Best of show.

@Fuggy Fuggy: Awesome, awesome, awesome. I loved this one. The art style was unique, the animation was great, and the story was funny. I want to see more from these guys.

@Aunt Luisa: Hey, what can i say. Reminds me of the glory days of CF when all the things on here were flippin' hilarious.

@Fuggy Fuggy: I don't know what I think about this for sure, but I didn't really see any point to it the first time through. I mean, I gave it a three, but i think that was generous, giving some slack for a possible biased first viewing. Overall, yeah this was too long and sucky.

@(Don't) Give Hate a Chance: Yeah, unofe you nailed it. Sorry, CF the sound quality was such that i made out about three words the whole time and seeing how I have very little exposure to this band I have no new appreciation for it because this was just embarassing.

@Fuggy Fuggy: I really thought that this one is one of the funniest shorts I've seen on Frederator. Made me laugh all the way through. I would really like to see more from these animators. Very creative, the animation was original and the story line was hilarious (and despite what others have said, Ninjas are funny)

@Aunt Luisa: Geeez, it's already the 'glory days?' In three months? If you ask me, every week's been a great week, even the ones that are a little less great.

@Aunt Luisa: The graphic and music is fabulous but the storyline was boring... just ended w/ "I'll go crazy..."... This just left me with the thought "wtf".

@(Don't) Give Hate a Chance: The fact that Channel Frederator is housing some really cool animated music videos is a-ok with me. I would like the sound quality to be 128K though. How is an animated music video not something that belongs on channel frederator, I mean if you're saying that you're saying some of the old Fritz Freileng(sp) and Bob Clampett cartoons aren't really shorts since many of them were characters animated to music. I think animated music videos are rockin awesome and many more of them are very welcome.

@Aunt Luisa: I liked it. It was simple, low key, and amusing. I too thought "In the Rough" was better, but this was still quite good. I give it a 4.

@(Don't) Give Hate a Chance: While I couldn't understand the lyrics (not sure how much of that is the fault of quality, or the fault of Jamiroquai) the animation gave me more than enough meaning. I thought it was all very well done, although the message was simplistic. A solid 4.

@Fuggy Fuggy: People seem to be hot and cold on this one. I for one liked it a good deal. The style was excellent, the sense of humor was generally spot on, and I had a good time watching it. Better editing would have made it a 5, but as it stands, it is a very successful 4 in my book.

@(Don't) Give Hate a Chance: Hey--xfer. I find it hilarious that you compare CF to MTV. Where have you been the last 15 years since MTV has almost completely stopped airing music videos?? This Jamiroquai video was awesome. Interesting animation (yes, it's still "animation" even though it's not a Bugs Bunny cartoon people) Good call Clelandman.

@Fuggy Fuggy: I find it very odd the way it is split. I absolutely loved it. I wonder If we look at the "bad" and the "Good" users we will see a different view of funny all together. Sounds like a psych project for someone. Definitely not me...

@Aunt Luisa: I thought this was a promising concept, but it didn't go anywhere. I kept waiting for a big payoff at the end, but there wasn't one.
