@Drink: A little too existential for me, but great animation.
@Drink: umm I don't get it... I know someone did and when you do, can you give it to me?
@Groove Monkee: oooh me first...well it was cute...yeah
@The New Guy: I liked something about it...still not sure what.
@Skippy: oh my freaking goodness I loved this one...SOOO loved the little boy's story made hardly any sense but hey that's kids for ya.
@Drink: I give it points for interesting and creative wierd sound effects as well
@Pillz: really enjoyed this one made me think of all those drug commercials that the drug cured one thing but caused about 5 others..
@Groove Monkee: umm...no
@The New Guy: I thought it was funny
@Skippy: it was pretty awsome
@Pillz: its so funny because commercials actually say this
@Pillz: Hilarious! Loved the random MLB reference.
@The New Guy: One of my all-time favorites.
@Groove Monkee: Cute, nothing spectacular.
@Skippy: Voice acting was terrific! Absolutely charming piece.
@Skippy: I love this story, not because Ricky's voice in it, but because of your amazing animation. Keep up the good work Amanda!
@Drink: Very creative. Loved the animation and art style.
@The New Guy: Great! Has potential to be made into a full series. Alot of room for character and plot exploration. Way too short though.
@Skippy: Cute.
@Pillz: Great! There an MP3 available?
@Drink: the art style was great. the idea was creative. i like the end.
@Groove Monkee: this has been done before... maybe not with a blue monkey but the whole djing to make the world a better place
@The New Guy: o man, this was great. how random!
@Skippy: this was really good. it sounded like a kid telling a story (with the jumping ahead and tangents and such)... maybe it was. anyway, the animation was cute and the story was great. this was the best one of this episode... they were all great though.
@Pillz: "if erection lasts for more than four hours insert joke here" people always make fun of that so may as well put it in a toon.
@Skippy: Amanda's an animation genius. Her simple, elegant style is a pleasure to watch. Of course I loved Ricky and Skippy, but then, I'm biased. I'm their mom. And Skippy really DOES wink ;}
@Skippy: Amanda's work is phenomenal! I loved the characters and the story was adorable. Never get tired of watching Skippy!
@The New Guy: Man what is it with sales managers always wanting to eat you alive? Jeez..
@Drink: That gets a five from me just for being so freaking weird. Oh, and I liked the animation and the sound, though a bit distorted at times, was great. Nice!
@Groove Monkee: Someone had a lot of fun with their midi player on this one...
Loved the dancing traffic cop...
@The New Guy: Lol, so quotable! "He put herbivore on his resume, what was I supposed to think!"
Ahahahaha!!
Great animation, too.
Panda's are great.
@Skippy: Great story. It took me a moment to warm up to it, but I was sold by the end.
@Pillz: That was worth a good chuckle. Curse our country's overreliance on drugs! I'm gonna write a letter! Where's my Ritalin!
@The New Guy: Brilliant! Liked the curious atmosphere created by the non-black outlines and adored the surreal juxtapositions, particularly in the character design. I want more!
@The New Guy: Definitely one of my favorites on this episode, and the podcast in general. The expressions he gets out of the octopus are priceless! This is a perfect example of how a great short can be just that--SHORT. Love it.
@Skippy: I heart Skippy.
@Drink: bizarrely entertaining
@Groove Monkee: awesome job w/the sound! The animation was good too, don't get me wrong, but the way everyday sounds were integrated in the cartoon was pure genius
@The New Guy: Very funny.I loved the expressions
@Skippy: Very nice. Awesome job in capturing the story.
@Pillz: AWESOME! What a great parody of almost every medicine commercial!
@Skippy: I loved this, i was laughing so hard. winking dog... such a kid's story! great job!!!
@Skippy: Skippy is too cute! Just like Amandapants and her animation! Keep on fighting the good fight!
-JX
@Skippy:
@Skippy: A wonderful story only a boy could tell about his dog w/ great sound, animation & timing that doesn't miss a beat. Great Job Amanda! When's the sequel?
@Skippy: wooty woot woot
@Skippy: LOVE THIS CARTOON..w00t!!!
@Drink: very nice, really awesome, and nice end.
@Groove Monkee: i saw a movie jus like this called "spin" i think, on atom films, but its with real ppl.
@Drink: preeety good, great start for the new year
@The New Guy: I love this cartoon. Seen it in Newgrounds before, and loved it, now I have it in my Ipod for ever. YYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEAA. (God I need a life)
@Skippy: cute. hmmmm
@Pillz: GOODNESS, AMAZING HILARIOUS GOOODNESSS. This is the best segment
@Drink: I definitely appreciated the theme. At first I thought the drink was absinthe. Then again, I could still be right..right?
@The New Guy: The voices were all top quality and the way Ed animated their expressions was priceless. Wish it was a little longer but still loved it.
@Skippy: Perfect in every innocent and cute little way. One of those "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" sort of things. I thought it was lovely.
@Pillz: I didn't really like it much..I appreciated the ending with the by-lines at the bottom and the fast speaker but the whole thing was too overused for me. Newgrounds is full of stuff like that.
@Groove Monkee: Errr..Ever since the first time I've watched it I've fast-forwarded through it every proceeding time to get to "skippy." I didn't like the drawings much and I think everyone's seen a lot of this stuff before...the blue monkey WAS orignial though..
@Drink: just to odd
@Groove Monkee: cool i like this one
@Skippy: soo cute
@Drink: a little too much of a bill plympton rip-off for me.
@Groove Monkee: ...meh
@The New Guy: loved it! really funny stuff and cool look to it.
@Skippy: fantastic. loved the mix of drawn elements and collage bits. really cute.
@Pillz: really funny stuff.
@Drink: Yes, seriously weird. What we're looking at is really quite gross. It's only that it's not gory that I can watch it.
@Groove Monkee: Fun-kay. I love it. He's just so cool and the music is groovin'!
@Skippy: Cute, cute, cute!
@Groove Monkee: The one I saw was the same one I_own_u saw. Now that is good. This tries.
@Drink: weeeeeiiiiird, but it was pretty cool, 3'd
@Drink: I thought this was really cool even though it was weird. I gave it a 4.
@Drink: i dig the kecak dancer
@Skippy: fun format, like it lots
@Pillz: pills suck, i hate drugs
@Drink: excellent!
@Groove Monkee: great! love it
@The New Guy: LOVE IT!!
@Skippy: the BEST EVER.
@Pillz: great great.
this was the best ever episode.
@The New Guy: fantastic, the script was well written and delivered with comic effect
@Drink: Weird, but I loved it. Nice animation.
@Groove Monkee: Another fun toon from the Wild Brain. Keep 'em coming.
@The New Guy: I loved this one. Best of show. Something about really made me laugh.
@Skippy: Not for me. Overall rating of 4? I don't get it.
@Pillz: Very funny. Loved it.
@The New Guy: Ed! You rock man... amazing as always!
@The New Guy: ed needs a website. bad.
@Drink: a classic!
@Skippy: it reminded me of those old school Nick Jr. shorts. it was great!
@Pillz: Good fun and a great tune but not the best on CF.
@Skippy: Very nice. Excellent artwork. More of this sort of thing if you please?!
@The New Guy: Top Stuff. My pick of this episode of CF.
@Groove Monkee: Good artwork but didn't really go anywhere.
@Drink: Bit wierd. I think CF need to stop with the wierd and outrageous and just go with the nice and funny. Seems that's what a majority of peeps want to see.
@Drink: You know I don't think if this had a real idea behind it that it did a real good job of portreying it but it was incredible animation.
@Groove Monkee: I didn't like the animation all that much but it was a cool concept.
@Skippy: Very good at what it is.
@Pillz: For a guy who hates perscription drug advertising I loved this!
@Groove Monkee: its like war photographer, with blu monkey...therefore kick ass.
@Skippy: like I said, cute, but the kid is annoying.
@Pillz: under rated
@Drink: wow. that made my head hurt.
@Drink: Awesome shit! Love it!
@Drink: god damn it. superb idea and animation!
@Drink: I've seen better, but I enjoyed it.
@Groove Monkee: Um... yeah. It could be WAY better. But it was a good concept.
@The New Guy: Didn't like it at all. I mean, it's a good start, but there is A TON missing.
@Skippy: Like... um... li... um...
Yeah, annoying. Wouldn't go far to say I hated it, but man, it was bad. The animation was good.
@Pillz: I liked it. Definatly not enough to rewatch it, but it was enjoyable. This and "Drink" were the only ones I really liked.
@Drink: I think CF should stay away from the boring and cheesy and just go with the innovative and thought-provoking. Seems like that's what most folks are clamoring for.
I liked Drink. Not entirely original (Mr. Plimpton, is that you?) but at the same time absurd to a pleasent degree. A 4! A 4 it is!
@Groove Monkee: Yes. Good concept. Yes. Blue Monkey cute, yes. Yes. Animation? So=so. OK. So. Yes. 3.
@The New Guy: Wow. There's the money. The only thing missing from that is bad stuff. That's the trick. He put in the good stuff, and left out ALL the bad stuff. Like, all of it. 5!
@Skippy: Someone's been leaving the bad out! Amanda? Did you leave the bad out? I thought so. You left all of it out! How could you do that, Amanda? 5! That's two 5s in one episode! Somebody slap me!
@Pillz: There's hardly any bad in this one. I can't name anything bad. I'm trying to think. No. No. Now that's what I call a Channel Frederator Episode! 5-3-4-5-5. The most 5s ever. Pillz warms my heart. As a slave to happy pills myself, I'm all about this cartoon. Especially the crawl across the screen at the end. I mean the actual aesthitic of that crawl. Dig it. Also, a shout-out to...let me retract the "shout-out." I don't shout out. I just want to say that the video footage at the end of the episode of the people who make this podcast was thoroughly terrifying. In a good way. Cheers.
@Pillz: Notice how Drugs and Cute Puppies are on firm footing in the battle against Workplace Violence and People Climbing Out Of People's Mouths. Somebody give that blue scratchin' monkey from outer space a banana!
@The New Guy: I thought it was great too. Only thing about it I didn't like was the quality of the voice recording. But very entertaining, and pulled me in very quickly. Characters and story have huge potential. Loved it!
@Drink: nice animation.
@Groove Monkee: so-so.
@Skippy: Hmmm.... I was like... I'm not going to like it... Not crazy about the style... then the kid says something like " skippy goes and... and he"... then I kind got into the style... I was along for the ride and I thought this.... well... I liked it. Keep Skippy's family out of the voting...rigged... major scandal....
@Pillz: Not bad. Canada supplies america with all its wonderful drugs! Who were all those ugly people at the end of this episode. 8>0. ;) jk. Love you guys.
@Drink: boooring
@Pillz: Freakin' awesome. I had the song stuck in my head the rest of the night.
@The New Guy: absolutely hilarous. the scene where the robot is eating dinner with his wife had me laughing until i cried. great animation and voice acting. 5'd
@Skippy: i like it alot, i really enjoyed how the kid talking synched up very well with the cartoon. great job. 4'd
@Drink: I love this cartoon! I saw it before on atomfilms.com(check it out!). Great animation
@Groove Monkee: Bad animation, cool concept, although i have seen another short similar to this, with a DJ changing time.
@The New Guy: Toatally random. Robot talking to a panda gets interupted by an octopus who reports a T-rex kill one of his coworkers, a deer. What could be better?
@Skippy: I loved it when the boyfriend is talking with the little kid's voice and the kid is getting all mixed up and nervous!! Great stuff!
@The New Guy: Fantastic. Couldn't be better.
@Pillz: Great. But is it really true that I'm crazy if I experience psychotic episodes?
@The New Guy: Don't get the end. I still love you, CF. You still rock my body. and... my face.
@Skippy: YES YES YES. Having a small seizure over here. I love it. The kid was @#$!ing hilarious.
@Drink: This is messed up. Sweet.
@Pillz: Oh, progenitorivox I need you now. I love this cartoon, I love you guys. All of you. I just want to give you a big (((HUG))) and wish you a merry frickin' new year. And many more frickin' ones to come.
@Drink: I agree with two of the other posts. "Very Plympton-esque" was my first thought.
@Skippy: Skippy- The hip-hapnin' pimp bitch dog! You watch yo back, foos! Cause he's comin'a getch ya!...widda..fo'k..o..sumpin.
@Pillz: over rated
@Skippy: wasnt really bad but not that great
@The New Guy: I loved this one... hope to see more from this guy
@Groove Monkee: annoying
@Drink: very cool concept, liked it lots
@The New Guy: Octopus rocks big time balls
@The New Guy: My favorite Frederator cartoon of all.
@Skippy: Adorabibble.
@Drink: I think if the little guy would've hiccuped or burped at the end it would've been better than having him stagger away and the girl enter...
@Groove Monkee: *shrug*
@Drink: Very crazy and weird, love it.
@Groove Monkee: How can you say the animation was bad? Making everyithing purple really helps the characters stand out. I loved the dancing traffic cop and the music was great!
@The New Guy: I had a manager like that once...
@Drink: Incredible. Loved the animation.
I' d like to take some minute to train for the highest level.
I think this was the best cartoon in this episode.
