@In the Rough: Whoa, look at those credits.
@Barrista: Absolutely love this!
@In the Rough: Love the story. And the animation is incredible.
@Barrista: The animator is funny.
@Mantelope: Is the director the same, great Dave Thomas that works on the Fairly Oddparents?
@Go Spy Go: Rocks!
@Go Spy Go: I second that.
@Mantelope: Billy West is brilliant!
@Barrista: Soooooo funny!!
@In the Rough: A little long.
@Barrista: This guy is a lot smarter than the average cartoonist. He's got a lot going on.
@Mantelope: These Wild Brain guys are wild.
@Barrista: Bueno!
@In the Rough: that was the coolest. watch out pixar!
@Barrista: dug this. cant wait to see where he goes with it.
@Mantelope: fantastic. i am in love with the line-up so far.
@In the Rough: So impressive.
Want more!
@Barrista: "...whoever he may be"
@In the Rough: This is awsome animation!!! i agree with KryptonSon watch out pixar!
@Mantelope: yea the wild brain guys are awsome, I have been playing on their website. Does anyone know where to get hurbert's brain, I think it looks realy cool but according to their website it only played back in 2003.
@Go Spy Go: No idea what was happening but enjoyed it nonetheless. Great animation.
@In the Rough: Superb. The best of Episode 1.
@Mantelope: Very enoyable short. Was even more enjoyable once I realised who was behind it. I mean, DAVE THOMAS! BILLY WEST! Flippin' Heck!
@Barrista: Had me gripped. Loved it!
@In the Rough: On a scale of "meh" to "woot".....WOOT!
@In the Rough: I do not know if it is a requirement for iPods (which I do not own), but whatever the case the original was 24 fps, and the encoder simply duplicated 1 frame out of every four in order to bring it up to 30fps, which makes every panoramic move look awful. The short is awesome, though.
@Barrista: More proof that writing is more important than technical skills, and that minimalism is /totally hip/. Fantastic.
@In the Rough: Absolutely stunning! Seriously funny and even has groin humour!
@Go Spy Go: Weird...
@In the Rough: excellente!
@In the Rough: *applauds* Encore!
@In the Rough: Really great - will there be more in the series ? thank you.
@In the Rough: The best cartoon so far!
@In the Rough: i love it!!!
@In the Rough: Superb animation content! Fast pace, hungry for the next one. Creative with a flair. Could develop into a fun, unique series.
@In the Rough: Absolutely great cartoon!
Nice lighting, good atmosphere, and the best WB cartoon inspired humor I've seen in a while. Though I don't think it's quite up there with Pixar, it sure beats the pants off Dreamworks latest uh works.
The story does drag on a bit in the end though. Should have ended with a bang.
@Barrista: Loved it.
@In the Rough: Fantastic animation, but maybe not the best script in the world.
@Go Spy Go: Great music.
@In the Rough: Excellent animation! The visuals rock. The story is okay.
@Barrista: Interesting. And the guy is definitely funny.
@Mantelope: Funny! And I liked the old school look.
@Go Spy Go: needed a plot or a point
@Barrista: the last scene... bueno running away - best moment i've recently seen.
@In the Rough: check out the moment when bear flies over the main character - marvellous!
@In the Rough: Watch out Pixar? More like...admire the fruit of your inspiration, Pixar. I mean everythin; lighting, movement, facial expressions was all completely derived from the Pixar in-house style. Not that that's a bad thing, of course.
@Mantelope: Nicely done. The premise is formulaic but it's a tried and tested good formula. Flash seems like a pretty appropriate tool for bringing that old low-budget animation style into the 21st century. I think some of the motion tweens were a little too slow to effectivly fool the eye. I don't know if the team shouldf be criticised for this or praised for sacrificing fluidity (is that a real word) for good timing.
@In the Rough: make more! make more! very entertaining!!
@In the Rough: Awesome, reminded me of a "rough" Shrek.
@Go Spy Go: I second naevity's point
@Mantelope: Well said, I enjoyed the goofy simplistic nature of it. And it tells a cool classic story in a new fashion.
@Barrista: Its.. interesting. I think its quite funny. in a weird sorta way...
@In the Rough: amazing. that was the best.
@Go Spy Go: it makes a great theme song. now all they need is an actual show.
@Mantelope: Definantly reminds me of the old days.
love it
@Go Spy Go: This trailer has an incredible 'feel.' The band is great, and I really want to find about more about those mopeds! Thanks.
@Barrista: Quirky and fun, but kinda left me scratching my head.
@In the Rough: A cute story, fantastic lighting and atmosphere paired with the excellent Looney Tunes-esque animation made this one a lot of fun to watch.
@Go Spy Go: Works for a music video, not sure I'd want to see a show all done in that style..
@Mantelope: Very Rocky n Bullwinkle/Dudley Dooright, it was very neat and would definetely stand out among a line-up of today's shows, which all seem to have anime elements in them....
@In the Rough: Brilliant! Want to see more like this.
@In the Rough: sdfafdsfsdfs
@In the Rough: This was really cool. I liked it a lot.
@Barrista: this is great!
@In the Rough: The best! More please!
@Mantelope: Do I detect a hint of Ren and Stimpy? The Mantelope's laugh is hilarious and his tail is just genius. Pure genius.
@Go Spy Go: have to agree with the comments so far - great style, great music, but it needs a story!
@In the Rough: I'm not a big fan of computer animation, but the gags and the storytelling is great on this short. I've shown the Blur Studio shorts to all my friends...
@In the Rough: ABSOLUTELY gorgeous and so cute. The only thing I"d say is that I would love versions for pc and jot just ipod.
Thanks!
@Barrista: Wonderful cartoon...very funny
@In the Rough: On par with pixar shorts easy ;)
@Go Spy Go: Good animation and I love scooters...I hope to see more
@Mantelope: Looks great but I was hoping for something a bit more twisted in the humor department.
@In the Rough: Increiblemente bien hecha, me encanta que sea gratuita la distribucion.Gracias channelfrederator.
@In the Rough: incredible. amazing.
this podcast made me buy an iPod for my brothers birthday, with link to the site. amazing.
@Mantelope: I also enjoyed watching! just nicely done! thanks! please: more of that!
@In the Rough: Blur has some great animated shorts. This one is no exception!
I'm looking forward to seeing more from this studio and keenly interested to see what they can deliver in the feature arena.
Channel Frederator rocks.
@In the Rough: Great animation. I love the texturing and motion. Very well done. Story is very well conceived and executed.
@In the Rough: I became a hardcore fan of Channel Frederator & Blur in what? a 3min cartoon..OH GOTTA LOVE IT
@In the Rough: I love this bit. Its the perfect thing to show off the video capablility of my ipod and its really funny as well.
@Go Spy Go: Could be good, but trailors don't go far.
@In the Rough: Clever story and fantastic imagination. But my goodness! The girl's screaming was annoying.
@Barrista: i think the characters are nice. i liked the naive aesthetic.
@In the Rough: not bad. the hunting sequence was effective.
@Go Spy Go: i loved the mixture of drawing and photography. very effective. makes me want to see the show, but i'd prefer not to have a plot at all. just more music like that and montage.
@Mantelope: mantelope is my hero. let me hear him beller again!
@In the Rough: hmm... no fair contest ... big studios vrs. 1 lone animator ? ...
short is awesome .regardless...
@Mantelope: For such a big studio... this short is very uninspiring. I mean it looks nice, the animation is ok but the formulaic crap and awkward/badly timed jokes dont work.
@Mantelope: I liked it. Weird and funny.
@Barrista: Kind of liked it but didn't find it very funny. However, I am interested in seeing more from this animator.
@Go Spy Go: Blending the animation with real video was cool but the drawing style kind of grates on me. Didn't leave me wanting to see a full show.
@In the Rough: Outstanding. Loved the animation and laughed through the whole think.
@Go Spy Go: Great aesthetic & very pop. The characters all look alike & the animation is minimal. Would be nice if the characters had... character. Very fun nonetheless !
@Mantelope: Extremely well done! Fantastic design, extremely appealing characters. I would love to see some more episodes!
@In the Rough: I was absolutely blown away. This short was fun & fast paced. Great character depth, excellent story. I don't know where to begin about the animation! Nice just nice!
@Barrista: Nice, dry humor. I'm not a fan of minimalist/naive animation. Still got a chuckle out of it though!
@Mantelope: I really liked the design, the backgrounds especially, but the premise is too cliched to be entertaining.
@Barrista: Just because you can make a short with seven drawings, should you? Binary talkers make Baby Jesus sad.
@In the Rough: This has been out in the nethers for a while, but I dig it. It seems slightly meandering, but it's funny and pretty. Rock on.
@Go Spy Go: The music and style make my heart twitch in unpleasant ways. Stop the ride, I'd like to get off now.
@In the Rough: yeah c'mon! No complaints, keep 'em comin.
@Mantelope: hey, what can I say. I love the mantelope.
@Barrista: CalicoMnky: Yes! yes you should! Actually, YOU should! This is hilarious, and that's mostly what matters. not how many frames you see in a certain amount of time. Baby Jesus IS a binary talker, these days.
@Mantelope: lolz
@In the Rough: awesome, one of the best frederators ever. we need more of these high quality toons!
@In the Rough: fan-freakin-tastic! No complaints!
@Go Spy Go: Simply put: "What?"
@Barrista: Really funny!
@Mantelope: great design, tight story. two thumbs up!
@Barrista: Bravo. Eet was great!
@Mantelope: Seems kinda...typical...
@Barrista: I love this one. If Frederator would have led with something else, I doubt I would have stuck around, but this made me fall in love with Frederator at first sight.
@In the Rough: Super Cool... Another like this and I'll forgive you for "Body Automatic"
@Barrista: I love this. its so simple. i love the quite feel to it.
@In the Rough: Wow! impressive animation!
@Go Spy Go: Mental, but i liked it
@Go Spy Go: "WTF Mate?"
@Barrista: Couldn't get into this. At all.
@In the Rough: The best of ep1. By far. Great animation. Cool story.
@Go Spy Go: Strange. Very, very strange!
@Mantelope: I agree. Typical. Not bad, but nowhere near great.
@Mantelope: I had to go beat up my friend for the complete season of Rock and Bullwinkle after that.
@In the Rough: I liked. A lot.
@In the Rough: i thought it was great. channel frederator should get more stuff from blur studios (check out their short called Rockfish)
@Barrista: this animation was great, love it, was this gifs? rofl or were they flash, look like gifs.
@Go Spy Go: "it makes a great theme song. now all they need is an actual show.-acevoncash" Agreed.
@Go Spy Go: I don't get it
@In the Rough: un #^$%^#ing incredible
@Barrista: underated (humph)
@In the Rough: Best one I've seen!
@Barrista: Actually one of my favorites, I think its sublimely interesting.
@In the Rough: Took a second to get into, but once the premise took off it was a much better cartoon.
@Go Spy Go: Found myself wondering what the point was at the end of it. Was this supposed to be a promo for a cartoon? All the people look the same :P
@In the Rough: I have to say this was by far the best animation out there!!! I liked Everything about it!!! WOW!!! Keep these coming!
@Mantelope: This one was another Good One! Reminded me a little of Ren and Stimpy or like Rocky and Bullwinkle.
@Barrista: funny!
@In the Rough: Very impressive. I smell a Pixar buyout
@Mantelope: Classic
@In the Rough: really good animation and clean pictures. It's fun and family entertainement. feel like in front of old cartoons. That's realy good. grat work!
@In the Rough: just one word to say it's such of a higher standard that one can see on TV....
@Mantelope: This was my fav of episode 1. I took it as an homage to the great Chase cartoons from the golden age of animation. I noticed that Maurice Noble was listed as a consultant, (despite his having passed away in 2001) he was layout artist on many classic Warner Bros. cartoons.
@Barrista: I agree with TorMen. When the...ass-cat thing kinda hops away I almost dropped my ipod with sudden strange hysterical laughter.
@Barrista: Awesome!! I loved the voices and the animation and the love the president thing!!
Do more stuff like this!!
@In the Rough: I agree with crackerfish. And check out atomfilms.com, they got a lot of great animations of all types.
@Mantelope: Pretty classic Bugs Bunny/Elmer fudd type, but missing the beautiful hand drawn animation old cartoons have. I liked the idea and everything, it just would've looked better had it not been flash.
@In the Rough:
@Barrista: AWESOME
@In the Rough: ugh, horrible. long and boring
@Go Spy Go: weird, i love it.
@Barrista: very unique. Animation was artistic
@In the Rough: it was alright...
@Go Spy Go: ???
@Mantelope: Mantelope... hehe.. thats gold
@In the Rough: guenísima
@In the Rough: 3-d sucks
@Barrista: Nope. Didn't get this at all.
@Barrista: LOL, I really like this. It inspire me to do something, and break the ice with a simple animation. The story was creative.
"Bueno! Im an american now, my heart belongs to the President of the United States...who ever he may be..." - hilarious !
@Barrista: I had to come back to this one because it is definitely my favorite one of all!!!
@Barrista: I really like these hand drawn animations...we need more. One of my fave Fred cartoons of all time.
@In the Rough: I feel sorry for the bear, whatever happened to him?
@Mantelope: Wolfsong, the copyright on the movie was 2001.
@Barrista: I love you, Bueno Bear.
@In the Rough: GREAT!!!
@Barrista: That was great, really funny. Loved the voices.
@Barrista: so underrated
